The brief
A clear challenge.
A focused response.
A brand-new dental clinic opening in North Oshawa with zero patient base, zero online presence, and a limited marketing budget. In the dental industry, a new practice needs to fill its appointment book fast — every empty chair is lost revenue, and it takes time to build the word-of-mouth referrals that established clinics rely on.
The clinic needed patients quickly and couldn't afford to waste budget figuring things out through trial and error. Every dollar had to work.

Our approach
Connecting the right channels.
Bolt Digital launched a two-channel approach in May 2025, combining high-intent Google Search ads with Facebook awareness campaigns to drive bookings from day one.
Google Ads (PPC)
Built a search campaign targeting high-intent dental queries in the North Oshawa area — people actively searching for a dentist, dental clinic, teeth cleaning, emergency dental care, and related services. The campaign used a Maximize Conversions bid strategy to let Google's algorithm find the most likely-to-book searchers within the limited daily budget. Despite being flagged as "limited by budget," the campaign delivered an exceptional 15.88% conversion rate — meaning nearly 1 in 6 clicks turned into a patient booking.
Facebook Ads
Facebook campaigns served a dual purpose: direct lead generation and high-volume awareness. A lead campaign drove 56 direct conversions through pixel tracking, while landing page view campaigns pushed over 7,300 people to the clinic's website at costs as low as $0.37 per visit. With nearly 667,000 impressions across the North Oshawa area, Facebook ensured the new clinic's name was everywhere in the local community.
Business impact
The case study reports strong appointment demand and a 20% advertising budget increase in April 2026, following consistent patient inflow.
